God Hears Every Prayer

At times, I begin my daily prayers reluctantly because I feel that I am endlessly whining about my struggles and issues, which are insignificant compared to what others around the world are going through.

Yet, I still seek God in prayer. As small as my issues may be, they are too much for me to carry alone.

Some mornings I begin my daily prayers, saying, ‘Here I am again, Lord.’ Then I pray, ‘God, I know you have things to deal with that are bigger than my little stuff.’

The reality is that God does care about the little things that happen in our daily lives. We are all God’s children, and he loves and cares for each of us.

I am so thankful that we serve a God who does not compare one person’s struggles to another’s, but is big enough to handle them all.

Prayer: Most gracious God, thank you for affirming us as your children and for reminding us that you care about even the smallest issues in our lives. Amen
