No One Like God

Our Bible Reading today tells us that God made an agreement with King David. God told David, “There will always be someone from your family to rule. I will make your kingdom continue forever and ever” (verse 4).

When people make agreements, they are often broken. Why? Because one side may become angry and break the agreement. But that is not the way it is with God.

When God makes an agreement, He always keeps it. Verse 8 tells us, “Lord God All-Powerful, there is no one like you. You are strong, Lord, and always faithful.”

God has made an agreement with us. When we accept His gift of salvation through Jesus, He will forgive our sins and give us eternal life with Him.

When you are facing problems, remember that there is no one like God. He is strong and powerful, and we can always depend on Him. —SH*

Matthew 26:28 [Jesus said,] “This wine is my blood, which will be poured out to forgive the sins of many and begin the new agreement from God to his people.”
