In the summer of 2016, disastrous bushfires raged through rural areas of South Australia. Lives were lost, and farms and homes were completely destroyed. Many people not only lost their homes but also their livelihood. People rallied around to help with immediate needs, but many still struggle and some will never completely recover.

The landitself was affected. Not a blade of grass was left and the strong wind blew the topsoil away. Huge trees which had taken years to grow werereduced to smouldering ashes. However, six months later amazing changes started to take place. From the impoverished soil, a few seeds sprouted. Green shoots appeared from old burnt stumps. Refreshing rain was bringing new life. The growth will be slow, but the promise of life is there.

What God can do for land and trees, he will also do for us. In times of stress, when God feels far away and we feel burned out, we can speak honestly to him about our fears. When we accept his love and forgiveness, our spirits will be renewed and growth will come.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for your love and forgiveness in times of stress. Help us to be open to you so that new growth can come. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen

I was so enjoyed to read your speaking of bsl daily devotion everyday with variety of different bsl skills from worker who work for the Lord as Thank God for sending out God's perfect words to the world. Nothing is too hard for Him. God's word's is the million best of the heaven than the news of the world. I prayed that those who did bsl daily devotion will get more strength from God to translate from English or whatever language into bsl and another sign language to tell gospel well to the world and touch their soul to glory God in Jesus's name. I am very humbly honour those who first set up BSl daily devotion with Team. God bless you to the end.
