Peace with God

Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:11-21
Tuesday 19 May 2026 © The Upper Room.

Our Bible Reading today encourages us to have right relationship with God.  These verses also tell us that we should help other people have peace with God.

Verse 19 tells us, "I mean that God was in Christ, making peace between the world and himself.  In Christ, God did not hold people guilty for their sins.  And he gave us this message of peace to tell people." 

God sent Jesus to the earth so that people could once again have peace with God.  We have the responsibility of showing people how they can have peace with God, too.

We can show people God's peace by encouraging them and restoring broken relationships.  We should forgive people who have sinned against us, be humble and show true Christian love.

Tell someone today what God has done for you.  Show them God's grace and mercy and help them to have peace with God. - DVH*

2 Corinthians 6:20 "So we have been sent to speak for Christ.  It is like God is calling to people through us.  We speak for Christ when we beg you to be at peace with God."

PRAYER: God, please show me someone today who needs Your peace. In Jesus' name. Amen

I was so enjoyed to read your speaking of bsl daily devotion everyday with variety of different bsl skills from worker who work for the Lord as Thank God for sending out God's perfect words to the world. Nothing is too hard for Him. God's word's is the million best of the heaven than the news of the world. I prayed that those who did bsl daily devotion will get more strength from God to translate from English or whatever language into bsl and another sign language to tell gospel well to the world and touch their soul to glory God in Jesus's name.
