Another definition for hope is “the feeling that events will turn out for the best.”

This is important for Christians. It is important to have this kind of hope. This hope means we know that no matter what happens, God is in control. Because God is in control of the things that happen in our lives, we know they will turn out for the best.

Maybe you are going through some challenging times in your life. Things are not going the way you want. You might think or feel like things will not work out.

Our Bible Reading today encourages us to remember that “in everything God works for the good of those who love him” (verse 28a).

Don’t give up. Don’t lose hope. Continue to love and trust God. Remind yourself to KNOW that God will work things out according to HIS way and time. And remember that God’s plan and time are always best! —CPE*

Romans 8:28 “We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan.”

PRAYER: God, I put my hope in You. I know that Your plan is always the best. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
