End Ahead

Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

One afternoon I was driving on a motorway. I saw a sign that said, “END” This sign puzzled me. I thought, “The end of what?” I didn’t know the answer to this question until I actually saw what was ahead of me.

As Christians, we can know what’s ahead of us right now! Verse 1 of today’s Bible Reading said, “There is a right time for everything, and everything on earth will happen at the right time.”

This verse reminds me that God has a detailed plan for my life. God’s plan includes that we will be born and we will die. In between our birth and our death, we face bad times and good times.

As Christians we don’t have to worry about what’s ahead of us. We can know that God is in control of our lives here on earth. And when we die, we will spend eternity with Him.

Don’t worry about what’s ahead. Trust God to lead you today. —SAH

Ecclesiastes 3:2,4b “There is a time to be born and a time to die. There is a time to be sad and a time to dance with joy.”

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, please help me to remember that I can trust You to lead me today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I am so thrilled and excited about the BSL version of Deaf Missions Daily Devotions. I have their booklet and been using them for nearly a year. I have good command of English but still struggle with the concept of the context at times. What a difference it has made just watching someone signing the passage so clearly and of superior quality! I notice the USA are far more advanced with access to the Gospel in ASL but now you have made it possible for us. So many thanks for this! May it go from strength to strength. JJ
