I am young, but I already know that God pays attention to my prayers and answers them.

One time I was visiting my grandparents. I wanted to play football, but I couldn’t find my football. I looked and looked, but I did not find the ball. I became frustrated. Finally, I went into the back yard, and I prayed. I asked God to help me find the football.

I went back in the house. One of the first things I saw was my football! I was so thankful that God answered my prayer. I am sure that God has answered your prayers, too. 

Maybe you prayed that God would heal someone who was sick, and they got better. God wants us to have faith that He will answer our prayers. Verse 15 of our Bible Reading says that God “listens to us every time we ask him. So we know that he gives us whatever we ask from him.”

No matter what is happening in your life today, God will pay attention to your prayers. And He will give you what is best for you. —CE

1 John 5:14b “...when we ask God for things (and those things agree with what God wants for us), God cares about what we say.”
